How AdFortress Handles GEOs
Our script uses a high-speed IP Database lookup to determine the user's country code (e.g., 'US', 'DE', 'FR') in microseconds. You can configure the script to:
- Allow List: Only allow traffic from specific countries (e.g., US, CA). All others go to Safe Page.
- Block List: Block specific countries known for high fraud or low conversion rates.
- Redirect Rules: Send US traffic to Offer A, and UK traffic to Offer B.
Beyond Countries: ISPs and Regions
Advanced users go deeper. You can target or block specific ISPs. For example, some affiliate offers convert poorly on mobile carrier networks but great on residential WiFi. With granular filtering, you can control exactly who sees what.
